History
The enterprise “Dusan Petronijevic” was founded in 1961 by merging graphic enterprise and the company for tobacco manufacture and production. Merging into one unit, the corporation was named after the bookbinder employee Dusan Petronijevic. The activity of the corporation was pre-production, purchase, manufacture and production of tobacco as well as to provide all kinds of graphic services including the start of flat cardboard production. Next division of the corporation followed in 1991 when it was divided into: The Enterprise for semi-cellulose and paper manufacture “Cepak”; The Enterprise for packaging material production “Dusan Petronijevic”. The final division of the corporation was set up in 2002 when the corporation was divided by its narrow special branches, which are: Dusan Petronijevic – packaging material factory; D Market – trade and Techno energetic – production of energy steam and providing the service of maintenance. Within the process of privatization on the bid published by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in 2004, the majority owner became Duropack from Vienna. Today the corporation Duropack Krusevac employs 160 workers and has inastalled facilities for annual production circa 20.000 tons of wavy cardboard and packaging material.
