When ‘Dusan Petronijevic’, an enterprise from Krusevac changed its owner in 2004 and became ‘Duropak’ things started moving to good. The thing that is very much insisted on is working discipline.
‘Earlier one could come to work and leave as one wanted. That is not the case today and my pay has doubled’, Borko Mihajlovic, one of the employees in the factory for carton production says. In 2004 ‘Dusan Petronijevic’ factory was purchased in tender by an Austrian company.
Investments and income
The buyer has purchased the factory for 200,000 Dollars and invested ten times more. The production has doubled as well as the income. Until beginning of economic crisis, the company was recording permanent growth. The truth is that the number of employees before privatization was 266 and today it is cut by about a hundred.
